PK PARK
2010-28
Beneath a late evening glow, the Eugene Emeralds are hosting a PCL (listing error, should read NWL) rival during their inaugural season in PK PARK, also home of the University of Oregon Ducks baseball team. The 4,000-seat ballpark replaces vintage Civic Stadium, where the Ems played since 1969. The "skin" portion of the infield and the warning track are synthetic - the first design of its kind in a professional baseball facility. Above home plate are eight luxury suites, each accommodating 20 people with major league amenities, including outdoor balcony seating. There's also a Restaurant Row for all fans and an Emeralds Fun Zone for kids.
