Product Description

PAUL BROWN TIGER STADIUM

ICS-72084-1

Paul Brown Tiger Stadium is a stadium in Massillon, Ohio. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field of the Massillon Washington High School. The stadium holds 19,000 people when extra seating is brought in. Without additional seating, the stadium holds 16,600. It is named after former Tiger and famous football head coach, Paul Brown. Its construction was completed in 1939 through the Works Progress Administration program. Besides being the regular season home of the Massillon Tiger Football team, the stadium hosts numerous OHSAA sanctioned football playoff games and three divisional championship games. This is possible due to the use of artificial turf as a playing surface. The stadium also hosts the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame drum and bugle corps competition. As a lasting tribute, it is listed as a historical site of significance by the state of Ohio.
