(KC5)

ARROWHEAD STADIUM: Home of the National Football League's Kansas City Chiefs, opened in the fall of 1972. George Halas called Arrowhead "the most revolutionary, futuristic sports complex I have ever seen." Fans occasionally refer to the stadium as The Sea of Red or simply Arrowhead. The stadium is commonly referred to as the "Home of the CHIEFS" at the beginning of every home game. Arrowhead has long held a reputation for being one of, if not the, loudest outdoor stadium in the NFL due to the exuberance of the Chiefs' fans. As of the end of the 2008 NFL season, Arrowhead Stadium has a consecutive sell-out record of 149 games (18 seasons) dating back to the home opener in 1990.

KAUFFMAN STADIUM: Home of Major League Baseball's Kansas City Royals, opened in spring 1973 as Royals Stadium and is located adjacent to Arrowhead. The stadium's name was changed in 1993 to honor Royals founder Ewing Kauffman just months before his death. Although the stadium is only 36 years old, it is the sixth-oldest stadium in major league baseball, as a result of the construction of a number of new stadiums in the 1990s.

LIVESTRONG SPORTING PARK: Livestrong Sporting Park is a soccer-specific stadium in Kansas City, Kansas and is the home of Sporting Kansas City. The stadium opened during the 2011 season of Major League Soccer on June 9, 2011 with a match against the Chicago Fire. The stadium has a seating capacity of 18,467 seats, which can expand to 25,000 for concerts. The stadium is Sporting Kansas City's third home venue. The team played in Arrowhead Stadium from 1996 to 2007 and CommunityAmerica Ballpark from 2008 to 2010.

INDEPENDENCE EVENTS CENTER: Independence Events Center is a 5,800-seat multi-purpose arena in Independence, Missouri, United States, a suburb of Kansas City. It was opened in November 2009. It currently hosts the home games of the Missouri Mavericks in the Central Hockey League and the Missouri Comets of the Major Indoor Soccer League. The center will host more than 100 events every year, with a very large spectrum of its events including: trade shows, professional sporting events, festivals, community events, concerts and its primary tenant, Independence Pro Hockey.
