Compadre Stadium was the spring training home of the Milwaukee Brewers from 1986 to 1997
Compadre Stadium was built in 1985 and seated 5,000 fans, with additional seating available on the grass down the left-field line. The Brewers first spring training season in Chandler was in 1986. Twelve years later, the club starting playing at Maryvale Baseball Park in west Phoenix, where it remains today.
The first spring training home of the Milwaukee Brewers franchise, which started as the Seattle Pilots in 1969, was Tempe. The club then moved to Sun City for the 1973 season and played there through 1985 before returning to the East Valley.
