Cashman Field is the home field of the Las Vegas 51s minor league (AAA affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays) baseball team. Cashman Field opened in 1983 and has a maximum capacity of 9,334. It was named for the Cashman family, who have been Las Vegas entrepreneurs for several generations.
The stadium played host to the Oakland Athletics as their "home" field for the first part of the 1996 season due to renovations taking place at the Oakland Coliseum.
