Product Description

ANGELS STADIUM

2010-11

Major League Baseball's 81st All-Star Game was played here on July 13, 2010, in 85-degree weather before a capacity-plus crowd of 45,408.  A three run double in the seventh inning by Atlanta Braves catcher Brian McCann propelled the Nationals to their first victory over the Americans since 1996 and earned the winners home field advantage in the World Series.  Final score was 3-1.  The Dodgers reliever Jonathan Broxton was credited with the save.  This marked the third All-Star Game in Anaheim since the ballpark opened in 1966.  As of 2010, it is the fourth oldest in the majors and has undergone extensive alterations, especially in configuration beyond the outfield.
