SunTrust Park is a baseball park located in the Atlanta metropolitan area 10 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta in the Cumberland neighborhood of Cobb County. It is the home ballpark for the Atlanta Braves, the city's Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise. On November 11, 2013, the Braves announced that the franchise would leave Turner Field for a new park after the 2016 season.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium is a multi-purpose retractable roof stadium located in Atlanta, Georgia. The home of the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL) and the Atlanta United FC of Major League Soccer (MLS), it replaced the adjacent NFL indoor arena Georgia Dome (now demolished), the Falcons' home stadium from 1992 through 2016. Mercedes-Benz stadium holds the record of the world's largest halo board and is one of few football stadiums with retractable roofs.
