Estadio Rommel Fernández is a multi-purpose stadium located in Panama City, It is used for different sports, and mainly for the conduct of games football. It was inaugurated February 6 of 1970. It was designed to accommodate the XI Central American and Caribbean Games in 1970. Through further reforms, the stadium managed to reach the current capacity of 32,000 spectators all seated, be the largest stadium in Panama Above the Estadio Rod Carew of baseball, and it is the most modern in Central America. It is part of Sports City Irving Saladino.

The original name of the stadium was Estadio Revolución, but in 1993, it changed its name to Estadio Rommel Fernández in honour of Rommel Fernández, a Panamanian soccer player who died in a car accident in the city of Albacete, Spain on May 6 of that year, At that time the stadium had a capacity of 22,000 spectators. The same is often used in the final game of each season LPF but is not currently registered office of any single Panamanian League club or Panama's national football team.

At 2009 the stadium was totally remodelated where its shape and facade was changed completely, seats were installed throughout the stadium, as well as a new giant screen, a new athletics track and is fully air conditioned with modern equipment. It was the spearhead for IX Central American Sports Games 2010 in which the stadium was reopened in the opening ceremony of these games. It is one of the stadiums that hosted more multisport events and regional Central America. The current event being held at this stadium is the Central American Cup 2011.
