Bridgestone Arena (Sommet Center, Nashville Arena and Gaylord Entertainment Center) is an all-purpose venue in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, that was completed in 1996.
Home of the Nashville Predators National Hockey League franchise, which has been its primary tenant since 1998. It was the home of the Nashville Kats franchise of the Arena Football League from 1997 until 2001, and hosted the team's revival from 2005 to 2007, when the Kats folded.
The arena was nominated for the 2007 Pollstar Concert Industry Venue of the Year Award. This is the fourth time the venue has been nominated. The first was in 1998 as the Nashville Arena, and then in 1999 and 2000 as the Gaylord Entertainment Center.
